Mozzarella and Tomatoes

There is a little redemption to the Dawkins garden this year - my husband's section is flourishing. After last year's success with cherry tomatoes and a summer full of that delicious mozzerella and tomato salad, he tried his hand again. We are hopeful.

I must not fail to mention that the leftover petunias (from the Easter hospital goodies) that I planted haphazardly beside his tomatoes - are gorgeous. By the time I got around to planting them, they were half gone, but without any effort on my part seem to have revived themselves. They are in our front yard and are a delight to my eyes and a wonder to my brown thumb. If only petunias tasted good!

It all looks great. Our tomatoes are doing well too! I am excited. We even have one pretty big pepper growing off of one of our pepper plants. All my flowers died though, I think I failed to water them enough with all that heat we had a little bit ago. :(

Guess I'll get some new ones and try again. :)

Try planting orchids. I am pretty sure they are low maintenance...don't quote me or anything though.

Laura, for some reason your latest post "Grammatical Rebellion" does not appear when I go to your page. It does, however, appear on my Google Reader. So strange. I can't comment on the Reader though. Will you try posting it again?
