When some friends asked us if we'd like to join them for a week in the village, we didn't have to think long before saying "yEs!" (Ok. So maybe I did write one small email about the possibility of rats, infant heat stroke, and other minor details.)
This week, we're trading in 105 temps for hill country coolness. (That could mean 99 degrees...but there is a difference:) We're trading in city smog for fresh fresher air. Rickshaw rides for a little more footwork. And our usual menu for a lot more rice and curry.
